Tasmania is the smallest of the Australian States but this has not stopped it becoming one of the best prime grazing ares in Australia.

Tasmania receives 14% of Australia’s total rainfall, has a cool climate, pristine air, which creates the natural abundance of lush fertile pastures. This combination creates an ideal environment to raise our lambs, resulting in a world class meat with extra flavour and tenderness.

Gooralie Pork

Gooralie is a mixed farming property situated near Goondiwindi, on Queensland’s fertile Darling Downs.After a lifetime of producing lamb and beef the natural way, we chose to establish a free-range breeding herd to produce pork in a natural, outdoor environment. Gooralie Free-Range Pork is Free-Range in accordance with Australian Pork Limited’s (APL) APIQ Free Range Certification and RSPCA Guidelines. We produce and deliver pork to the consumer which is supreme in taste and tenderness.This is achieved through keeping our pigs in a stress free environment allowing them to be “As happy as….” That is why the quality and taste of our pork is superior.

We endeavour to grow our own grain. Our pigs are fed a natural, nutritiously balanced diet free of chemical residue, antibiotics and hormone growth promotants.

As a couple of local Aussie farming families, we’ve got together to create Elgin Valley – the perfect place to raise our chooks. Elgin Valley chickens roam free on acres of lush green pasture and we’ve developed state of the art ways to make them as comfortable and carefree as we can.

Every part of the process – from our specially developed protective netting to the feed we give to our chooks is designed to make sure that our product is as natural and healthy as possible. Our commitment to you is that you will have tasty, ethically produced, chicken free from any growth promoting hormones, that you can feel good about feeding to your family.

At Elgin Valley we have a passion for quality. We believe that Aussies deserve fresh, premium quality chooks, free from any growth promoting hormones. Elgin Valley chooks are 100% Australian owned and grown.

Moya Chicken

True free-range chickens (steroid, antibiotic, growth promotant and GMO free)
Kevin Ross, first started the business as a home delivery service in 1990 near Kenilworth, Queensland. Due to high demand for the product, Kevin purchased land at Imbil, in the picturesque Mary Valley Hinterland in 1993, which has become the home for Moya Valley Poultry until this day.

Kevin developed the bush block into a productive free range meat chicken farm which is accredited with the Freerange Association of Queensland, which allow maximum 1,500 birds per hectare. Th chickens have very large areas to roam and as they only process less than 1,000 birds per week (Ingams do about 1.5 million and other small players to 20-30,000 per week), Moya Valley Chickens are a prized product amongst a cult following of Sunshine Coast and Brisbane conconnoisseurs ranging from organic stores, local buthcers and famous Noosa chefs.

Moya Valley Poultry prides itself in its hand-picked, hand processed and hand packed products. The chickens are true free-range and get full sun througout the day as they freely roam over the property. They are all naturally fed (no corn, no GMO soy, no animal by-products, no synthetic methionine), no hormones, no antibiotics, no steroids, no preservatives or interference with their natual growth (i.e. no growth promotants) – one of the most differentiating qualities of Moya Valley Chickens is the hand-processing with a team of only 5. These are the freshest, tastiest and as holistic as you can get, save you live on a farm yourself – this is how chicken meat is supposed to taste!

Our farm fresh eggs all have a gorgeous orange yolk with delicious, rich flavor. There is no comparison to store bought eggs.

The McDougall Farm proudly only stocks 1000 birds per hectare which is well under not only the old regulations and makes a joke of the “big brands” versions of Free Range Eggs that you can get at the supermarkets.

You can see and taste the difference on what fresh and natural eggs have to offer over store bought eggs. Our chickens lay over 3 dozen eggs daily which allows us to sell the freshest eggs possible.
